Watercolor Let It Snow card

This is the first time I used the watercolor technique called resist watercolor. You use embossing powder to make your stamp, for the snowmen I used silver. Then you color in with your watercolor pencils and then add water to "smooth" out the pencil or to blend it. The raised lines from the embossing help keep the colors from bleeding onto or into the next section. In this card the red didn't get into the white of the snowmen, YEAH!! I made the background paper by using an old CTMH snowflake stamp and StazOn Azure ink. The Let It Snow is a stamp from Hobby Lobby (their brand) and used black fine embossing powder for it, and the 3 snowmen stamp is an old Penny Black stamp from 2002. The silver snowflakes are a punch cut once from chipboard and once from silver textured cardstock. I enjoyed this technique, think I will have to give it another try with a different stamp.
