New Love #2

This isn't really a "NEW" love, I have been in love with this company since I found it, about two years ago. With every new release of stamps, dies, papers and even 'bling' it just keeps getting better and better! Of what do I speak so highly, that would be Dave Brethauer's Memory Box which you can check out here:www.memoryboxco.com

I have put together a few photos of my collection, this isn't my full collection, I know MY BAD!
">
The GREAT news for my design side and not such a good thing for my budget, my LSS has just added Memory Box to the lines they carry, woohoo!!!! This means no more shipping from the great shop in Colorado Springs. I love Dave's designs, quality and to top it off they are made in the USA! How can you not love this company?!?

A Holiday Hello...

Will be teaching a class next weekend with 4 holiday cards, yes Christmas cards. I like to get my cards made early, that no way says they get written and mailed early. lol Working with Christmas paper to design the class got me in the mood, and I have 3 dozen of my cards finished, so i am 1/2 way there. Check out some of the fun holiday things I have found....

my closing thought for the day..."120 days from now Christmas will be all over!"

Eye Candy #2

from Lindy's Stamp Gang

My DH said "take the long weekend off"  (even if it was so HE could have the weekend off too, I'll take it) no heavy housework!

SO, I have been checking out a few (lol) things on the web.  Jump on over to   Lindy's Stamp Gang .  They have some very interesting color sprays which, wait for it, you won't believe, wait for it, will be sooooo worth the wait, WILL NOT CLOG!  If you have ever used spray colors you know the value of a good sprayer.  Lindy's come in powder form with directions on how to mix and set with just hot tap water.  They have great videos (on mixing and using) check out what they did with paper flowers!  Yes I have the above set on order, and will report back once I get to test them out.

New Love #1 -- Washi Tape

I have been smitten with Washi Tape for the last few months.  Other designers at my LSS have not jumped on the Washi bandwagon as of yet, so I am going it solo for now.  I started my collection with Smash black and white tape, then I tried the orange set from Target, then I found Cavallini and their Flora & Fauna collection, so that was added to the stash, just as soon as my Amazon Prime could get it to me.  Loved the Flora & Fauna so much got the matching stickers.

With a fair collection starting  I began looking for designs that I could incorporate my new love.  Then today I was checking out the new post from Splitcoaststampers, and low and behold it  was 'making your own Washi tape'!  Talk about hitting the mother load, make my own Washi, the colors would match exact to my inks and papers.  If you have not watched the video yet, you need to check it out.

What new products are you smitten with?

Where I spend my time (and MONEY) LSS

So far so good, two days and two new posts, I'm on a roll!  lol

This week I am working on a design to teach at my LSS based on punch art and hope to have pictures up later this week, once I design something :-).  If you are in the Northern Colorado area you should check the place out, super people, sooooo much ribbon (really to die for selection) all kinds of paper and BLING, a girl has to have her bling.

Name of the shop is A Scrapin Place, 69th & Franklin, Loveland, CO  give them a call 970-663-0035 they will be happy to tell you the classes for the next week and if there is still room to sign up.  Great place to relax, create and laugh!

Eye Candy #1

This is a Gina K Designs stamp set, when you use embossing powder it will look something like this.  Doesn't that just knock your socks off, for sure this is on my wish list!
